This is our flagship product, and one that I truly believe should be mandatory for every horse owner. The most common bit of feedback we’ve received is, “I had no idea how much I didn’t know!” Our former webhost unfortunately went out of business on short notice. The data file that they sent us to upload at our new host was corrupted and we had to completely rebuild our website. Prior to this, we had dozens of five star reviews and many testimonials as well. I’ve honestly never gotten less than favorable feedback to date.

Daniel spent 6 months in total doing hardcore research, bothering highly educated people, and building props and visual aids. He then spent another 2 and a half years making what has been edited into a 4 disk, 5 hour and 20 minute encyclopedia of knowledge about the relevant physiology of the horse, the factors that affect set up of the bit, how to use your hands most appropriately, and, of course, the physics and mechanics of how bits do and do not function.

We clear up common areas of confusion, and bust many myths. Some of the largest sources of misinformation out there are bit manufacturers themselves. They’d rather sell you 5 of the wrong bit than just one that’s really what you need. To make sure you knew this wasn’t another infomercial masquerading as information, we turned down all sponsorship for this project. We’re not going to try to sell you anything. In fact, you could certainly view this project as a source of consumer protection.

This video is surprisingly easy to watch and quite funny, but it is a densely packed resource. It is not discipline specific. We cover spade bits, snaffles, double bridles and lots of different features and aspects you’ll commonly see. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or a new owner, there’s definitely some good information in here that you’ll benefit from understanding further. We’ve even broken ground on about 6 different things that you just aren’t going to find in other resources. Everything presented is broken down into parts that are easy to understand. The physics is all high school level, and we explain things well beyond the “just take my word for it” level. We clear up common areas of confusion, and bust many myths.

This really is a serious project. The information provided will be readily understood by anyone over 15, but the scientific nature of the information will be readily apparent to even the most educated and experienced. In fact, college professors in about 25 different US universities have taken the video into their Equine Sciences/Studies programs as a teaching resource.
