Ep. 06 Gerry Cox, Montana Horseman

In this episode, Daniel talks with Gerry Cox. Gerry and his wife Kathleen own and operate Mountain House Stables. You’ve very likely seen one of their coffee mugs floating around. Gerry has lead a very interesting life. As a young man he helped with the Alaskan Pipeline and was an Ice Road Trucker, while living in a small cabin in the mountains. Gerry moved to Washington, with his wife Kathleen, and they founded Mountain House Stables. This wonderful wife of his has allowed this man to have not one, but two places with a roping arena in the front yard. Anyway, Gerry has worked with mustangs, both as a two time top 3 winner of the Extreme Mustang Makeover, and as a consultant for the Border Patrol Project Noble Mustang. A clinician himself, Gerry is always learning and setting his own ego aside. As a part of that, he regularly has other clinicians out to his place to do clinics for him and his customers. These friends of his include Craig Cameron, Jim Anderson, Dan James, and others. Gerry gives a pretty cool interview with several humorous tangents and lots of lessons learned. We hope you enjoy!
