Ep. 48 Lee McLean, Canadian Horsewoman, Author, and Sidesaddle Aficionado

Ep. 48 Lee McLean, Canadian Horsewoman, Author, and Sidesaddle Aficionado is Live. I’ve been very proud of the content we’ve been producing on the Adult Onset Horsemanship Podcast. That being said, I think this is a pretty special episode that sets a new bar. You really need to listen to this one.
Lee has written two books, Horsewoman: Notes on Living Well and Riding Better, and Love & Rules: Life Lessons Learned with Horses. She’s been an active horsewoman since she was a small child and has studied many disciplines extensively. She studied dressage since the age of 14 and has competed in many events while riding sidesaddle. Beyond her 5 decades of experience, she’s also a stroke survivor and very candidly explores what it’s like to age gracefully and deal with physical limitations and changes as you continue to grow on your journey as a horseman.
Her online presence is through her business name, Keystone Equine where she’s amassed quite a following of people anxiously awaiting the next article offering her insights and unique perspective. This really is a great episode and I’ll be following Lee McLean from now on too.
