For these 2 days at Saddlesdane Equestrian Centre, just outside of Faversham, Aug 29-30, we’ll have 2 small groups of 6 riders (morning and afternoon) with similar skills and levels of experience. As we do in almost all of my clinics, we’ll start with nervous system regulation and the cue to relax. Yes, I teach all my horses and riders an actual cue to have the horse relax and downregulate. Sound interesting and useful? This aids tremendously in keeping them calm and willing, and having them in the correct mind space to actually learn and retain what is worked on. We’ll also work on timing, feeling and controling the feet, really reading body language as we ride, your timing, relevant physiology and biomechanics that affects our horses whether or not we realize it, our timing with our cues, how we use our hands and our balance when cueing the horse, your timing, and much more. I’m also open to answering any bit questions you may have. I’m easy. Ask away. It’s what you’re paying for.
I keep all clinics flexible, so I’ll also be asking the riders what their specific goals or problems are and we’ll also incorporate those as we go.
This product is to secure your spot. You can pay now, in full, or pay the non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your spot in this incredible experience. If you choose to pay the deposit now, the remainder will be automatically charged to the same payment method in 30 days. The cost for the clinic is set on my end in US dollars, but should be near £100/day as of the exchange rate on 06/26/26. As our expenses are much higher to have this clinic in the U.K., I hope it is understandable why payment must be made in full prior.
Come away encouraged, renewed, and with that light in your eyes that horses first sparked in you. Keep in mind that all of my clinics get extensive notes after the clinic (25-40 pages). While most clinics may leave you wondering what you worked on a couple of weeks later, I go the extra mile so you get much more retained value. Be reminded what we worked on, why, and how. Know the pitfalls to watch out for, and what you should be looking for to advance the skills over the coming months.
There is also a day of private lessons on Monday, Aug 31st, which is treated as a separate product. You can also put it in your cart and pay the deposit to secure your time during the full 3 days with me. These will be 1 hr spots of my undivided attention. This time can be a traditional lesson, problem solving for your situation, or a bitting consultation. It’s up to you how we spend it.
